TJM has a range of Rear Bars, all designed for specific application. TJM Replacement Bumpers (RB8) also have the facility to accomodate a TJM Swing Away Wheel Carrier.

| TJM RB4 - TWIN TUBE UNIVERSAL
Designed to fit a range of vehicles, the universal Rear Bar, manufactured from 63mm steel tubing, not only provides protection and style to the vehicle but also incorporates a tread plate step allowing easy access to vehicle tray. Towbars can be installed with RB4 rear bars on some vehicles.
Available in black powdercoat or optional colour coded paint.

| TJM RB6 - SINGLE TUBE HEAVY DUTY
A TJM Single Tube Rear Bar, manufactured from 50mm steel tube, chassis mounted for strength and designed to provide additional protection to the rear of the vehicle. A fully welded (not bolted) checker plate step to access the rear of "tray back" vehicles is also a feature of this bar. A Class 4 towbar is incorporated into this rear bar as well as TJM Recovery Jack Points.
Available in black powdercoat or optional colour coded paint.

| TJM RB8 - TYRE CARRIER
Add style and protection to the rear of your 4WD with a TJM Replacement Rear Bumper designed to fit with most popular Class 4 towbars. Constructed from steel plate, the TJM Replacement Rear Bumpers are finished in black powdercoat, or as an option can be painted to match the vehicle. The tread plate step on top of most bars makes for easy access to the roof rack or rear of the vehicle. The moulded polyurethane components ensure the TJM rear bumper blends neatly to the vehicle profile.
Where needed, ADR, DOT and ECE approved stop, tail and turn signal with wiring looms for easy connection to the vehicles wiring harness are supplied. TJM Recovery Jack Points are also incorporated into this bar.
Available as an option are the left hand side or right hand side Tyre Carriers. Relocating the spare wheel from under the vehicle and improving ground clearance.
The Tyre Carriers are available seperately or can be fitted in combination, for an extra spare on those long expeditions. The easily opened Tyre Carrier Latch is fitted with a push button Safety Pin to prevent accidental opening of the latch.

Note: TJMs Stainless Steel products with mirror finish surfaces are not
impervious to environmental contamination from airborne acids and oxide
particles and will most likely require periodic maintenance.
Some
of our customers have expressed the opinion that Stainless Steel cannot
rust if it is ‘real stainless’. Despite the fact that TJMs products are
made from high grade Stainless Steel, this statement is not always true
because of the diversity of the alloys that are used in production and
the fact that no raw material is 100% pure and therefore totally devoid
of contaminants.
Regular maintenance will ensure that the
product continues to look as good as it did the day it was fitted to
the vehicle and it is important that owners recognize they have a part
to play in this process. Without proper maintenance, rust spots on the
surface and especially around joins, that are caused by impurities in
the metal or oxide particles in the air, will potentially develop
further causing damage to the surface of the product. These surface
damages can be removed with a polish or a fine abrasive.
For stainless steel maintenance TJM recommends the Durosol product called Autosol or other products similar to it. |
