P7 Offroad's Low Range course begins with an overview on your vehicle, identifying recovery points and inspecting elements such as approach & departure angles. You will then get comfortable behind the wheel on an artificial Low Range test loop, here you will see how vehicle components like Diff Locks & Traction Control work on modern 4x4's. You will learn about every type of recovery gear, except winching - that's another full day course.
After lunch (BYO) you will head out into the natural terrain of the park and challenge yourself with water crossings and steep terrain. The terrain encountered during the P7 Offroad Low Range course will set you up with the skills and confidence needed to explore our great country.
The course is hands-on. There’s no ‘classroom’ component. P7 Offroad take an integrated approach to your learning and ensure that you learn by listening, watching, understanding and doing.
The $510 voucher covers any number of adults/children in 1 vehicle and includes National Accreditation for up to 2 people (SISODRV302A – Drive and Recover a 4wd Vehicle).
