Seeker Series Gen 2: The Ultimate 4x4 Driving Lights

The ability to just load up your 4x4, head off-road and immerse yourself in the Australian Outback is a liberating experience we can’t begin to describe. But the minute you leave the roads for dusty trails, sandy escapes and rut ridden adventures, visibility becomes a serious, and potentially dangerous, issue.

The culprit? Your 4x4’s factory standard headlights.

Your 4WD’s stock headlights may be adequate on paved roads at moderate speeds, especially when paired with streetlights, but throw in pitch black landscapes in the middle of nowhere, or even just a little weather, and you’ll find them sorely lacking.

Fortunately, you don’t have to settle for the minimal visibility offered to you by your vehicle’s factory standard headlights.

Thanks to an array of aftermarket driving lights available, your 4x4 will be able to effectively light the way ahead, spot potential hazards, keep an eye on the convoy and minimise animal strikes, while everyone else waits for the sun to rise or the weather to clear up.

Just in time for a summer full of adventures, we’ve released our Seeker Series Gen 2 Driving Lights.  With these fixed to the front of your rig, visibility touring the harsh Australia Outback will become a non-issue.

So, what makes these 4x4 driving lights so impressive?

4x4 aftermarket driving lights are continually evolving alongside advancements in technology, and our Seeker Series Gen 2 driving lights are no exception.

Equipped with advanced Osram LED technology, these 4x4 driving lights are able to produce a high output of crisp, white light, resulting in incredible brightness over long distances.

They’re also housed in exceptionally strong die-cast aluminium, offering IP68 water and dustproof protection, and feature an integrated LED park light strip for added safety and versatility.

However, indicative by the name, this is in fact our second iteration of these impressive driving lights. And, beneath the array of high output LEDs, we well and truly pushed the boundaries when it came to innovation.

Within each Seeker Series Gen 2 driving light, we’ve included a new reflector optic that provides a more efficient beam pattern, without sacrificing beam width or requiring more power. The result is a 4% increase in beam distance for the 7” model (180 mm) and a massive 14% increase for the 9” (230 mm) driving light.

Whilst still retaining the strong spot beam configuration, this two-lamp arrangement now produces 1 Lux at an incredible distance of 761 m (for the 7” model) and 892 m (for the 9” range).

As far as aesthetics and protection go, our Seeker Series Gen 2 driving lights have also seen an upgrade.

Visual improvements at the front feature our iconic TJM branding, and a powder coated bracket improves durability and looks better than ever. Lens protectors also now come as standard, ensuring lights look newer for longer and don’t discolour over time.
